“My Mother’s Eyes” Nominated for a New York Emmy
An animated short film that tells Lusia Milch’s survival story through her own testimony has been nominated for a 2026 New York Emmy® Award in the Teen (13–19) short- or long-form content category. Produced by the Dr. David M. Milch Foundation, the Lappin Foundation, and BeTerrific!!/WunderArt, the film is part of LEDI Center’s classroom programs and has aired nationally on PBS.

A Remembrance of Future Stories
On Wednesday, January 27th, Dr. David M. Milch led a panel discussion on the works of “Lives Eliminated, Dreams Illuminated.” Participants included artist Lauren Bergman and composer Ella Milch-Sheriff, as well as a visit from two special guests. The event was sponsored by Bruce and Lois Zenkel and the David M. Milch Foundation.
