United States forces discovered 8mm footage, from which this still is taken, in SS barracks in Augsburg, Germany. This photograph comes from Lwów, Poland (present-day Lviv, Ukraine). Of the more than 200,000 Jews who once occupied that city, only a few hundred were alive at the end of World War II. The identity of the young Jewish woman depicted in the photograph is unknown.
